Anti-Wrinkle injections are a simple, safe and effective way to improve fine lines and wrinklesof the face. They work to relax facial muscles making lines and wrinkles, such as worry lines, crow’s feet and frown lines, less obviouse. The result is a softer, younger and more rejuvenated apperance.
What is the aftercare of this treatment?
– The Anti-wrinkle injections usually take around 7-10 days for the effects to show, and 2 weeks to fully come into fruition.
– The injection site should heal quickly, so you must avoid rubbing the area where the anti-wrinkle injection was injected as it can irritate it, prolong redness and even causes brusing.
– Avoid strenuous exercise and applying makeup in the first 4-5 hours minimum following the treatment but we do recommend 24 hours
– It is advised not to fall asleep or lay facing down on your front to allow the anti-wrinkle injections to settle for at least 4 hours after your treatment.
– Avoid alcohol, aspirin, NSAID pain relievers and any other blood thining products as these all increase your risk for bruising or bleeding. These should be avoided for 24 hours pre and post treatment.
– Avoid heat and sun as these can inflame your skin causing prolonged swelling and redness. No sunbathing and/or tanning beds, or heat lamps for at least 24 hours after your injection. If you do need rto go outside in the sun wear a hat and/or SPF 50 to protect your skin.
