Vitamin Injections

Beauty by Rajni offers a range of vitamin injections at our Conniburrow salon in Milton Keynes, given by appointment after a consultation. Each injection is a quick treatment, and we take the time to talk through your options and check the treatment is appropriate for you before we begin.

Vitamins and minerals play a role in the normal working of the body. Vitamin injections are not a treatment for any medical condition, and they are not a substitute for a balanced diet or for advice from your doctor. If you think you may have a vitamin deficiency, please speak to your GP.

Your questions answered

Important Info & Aftercare

  • Tailored Consultation: A mandatory health consultation is required prior to your first injection to discuss your wellness goals (e.g., boosting energy, supporting immunity, or improving skin health) and to select the correct vitamin option (such as B12, Vitamin C, or Vitamin D).

  • Medical Review: A thorough review of your medical history, current supplements, and daily medications will be conducted to ensure there are no absorption interactions or contraindications.

  • Hydration & Food: Ensure you eat a light meal or snack and drink plenty of water prior to your appointment to prevent any dizziness or lightheadedness during the injection.

  • Recent Bloodwork: If you have had recent blood tests or a diagnosed deficiency from your GP, please bring these details to your consultation to help us optimize your treatment plan.

Vitamin injections are not suitable for everyone. Please tell us at your consultation, and do not book, if any of the following apply. This list is a guide and not exhaustive, and your practitioner will carry out a full check at your appointment.

  • You have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinning medication
  • You have kidney disease or a serious heart, liver or other chronic condition
  • You have an active infection or are feeling unwell on the day
  • You have a needle phobia that would make the treatment unsafe or distressing
  • You are under 18
  • You are taking medication or have a medical condition that your practitioner needs to review first
  • Avoid alcohol for 48 hours after treatment
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours
  • Avoid touching the injection site for 6 hours
  • You may feel a dull ache around the injection site, which usually passes within an hour
  • Avoid blood thinning medication for 24 hours before and after treatment, unless it is prescribed, in which case speak to your practitioner and your doctor first
  • Expect minimal swelling or bruising around the injection site
