Lemon Bottle is a non-surgical treatment used to target small, stubborn pockets of fat in areas such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, under the chin and upper arms. A solution containing riboflavin (vitamin B2), lecithin and bromelain is injected into the fat layer, with the aim of breaking down fat in the treated area so the body can clear it gradually over the following weeks.
The treatment is quick and non-surgical, and the area is numbed with a topical anaesthetic beforehand, so most clients find it comfortable. It is intended for contouring specific areas rather than for overall weight loss, and it tends to suit people who are already close to their target shape and want to address a particular area that has not responded to diet and exercise.
Your questions answered
Patch Test & Consultation: A mandatory patch test and full medical consultation are required at least 48 hours prior to your first session.
Blood Thinners & Alcohol: Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements (such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, and Ginkgo Biloba) for 24–48 hours before treatment to minimise bruising.
Hydration: Start drinking 2 litres of water daily for a few days leading up to your appointment. Being well-hydrated makes the fat-elimination process significantly more effective.
This treatment is not suitable for individuals who are pregnant/breastfeeding, or those with pacemakers, heart conditions, active thrombosis, diabetes, epilepsy, auto-immune conditions, or active skin infections (psoriasis/eczema) in the treatment area.
Hydration Booster: Drink at least 2 litres of water daily for the first week post-treatment. This is crucial as the water flushes out the dissolved fat cells through your lymphatic system.
Avoid Heat: Refrain from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds, and prolonged sun exposure for 3–5 days. Heat increases swelling and inflammation.
Exercise: Avoid strenuous workouts or heavy sweating for 48 hours; gentle walking is encouraged to aid lymphatic drainage.
Skincare & Makeup: Do not apply makeup or heavy skincare products to the area for 12–24 hours to prevent infection at the injection points. Avoid active topicals (retinols, acids) for 3 days.
Avoid Massage: Do not rub or massage the treated area for the first 48 hours unless explicitly instructed otherwise by your practitioner.
