Permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation or semi permanent makeup, is a treatment where hypoallergenic pigments are infused into the dermal layer of the skin, using a method similar to conventional tattooing. The results give your brows a sculptured effect, define the eyes and add subtle softness to the lips, so you wake up ready.
This is not a surface level facial. It is a clinical treatment aimed at long term skin quality and firmness, and it can be used on the face, neck and body.

The process begins with a detailed consultation, where your ideal colours and definition are chosen.
Careful measurements are taken and guiding curves are drawn onto the face, and the treatment only begins once you are completely happy with the shape and colours.
The pigment is then applied to produce a well balanced, natural enhancement that suits your features.
Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing, but unlike a regular tattoo it uses a manual handheld tool to place the pigment under the skin rather than a machine. Fine hair strokes are created to mimic your natural brow hairs, helping your eyebrows look fuller and more defined. The shape and colour are matched to your features, so the finish looks natural. A top up is usually needed a few weeks after your first treatment to perfect the result.
Your questions answered
Detailed Consultation: A full consultation and patch test are required to map out your facial symmetry, choose appropriate pigments, and discuss the healing process.
No Blood Thinners: Avoid alcohol for 24–48 hours prior. Avoid taking Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, or Fish Oils for 5–7 days before your session to minimise bleeding, which can push the pigment out.
No Caffeine: Do not consume coffee, energy drinks, or heavy caffeine on the morning of your treatment, as caffeine dilates blood vessels and increases sensitivity.
Aesthetic Buffers: Do not have Botox or fillers near the treatment area for at least 2–3 weeks prior. Discontinue retinols and facial acids 1 week before.
This treatment is not suitable for everyone. Please tell us at your consultation, and do not book, if any of the following apply. This is a guide, not a full list, and your practitioner will carry out a proper assessment.
Dry Healing / Gentle Wiping: Follow your therapist’s specific blotting instructions for Day 1 to remove excess lymph fluid. Keep the area clean and apply only the provided healing balm using a clean cotton bud.
Do Not Pick the Flakes: As the skin heals, it will flake, itch, and scab slightly. Do not scratch, pick, or pull at the peeling skin. Forcing flakes off prematurely will pull the pigment directly out of the skin, leaving gaps.
Keep Clean and Dry: Avoid splashing water directly on your face, swimming, heavy sweating, saunas, and hot tubs for 10–14 days, or until the skin is entirely healed.
No Cosmetics: Do not apply any makeup, standard skin lotions, or active anti-aging products to the treated area for at least 2 weeks.
Long-Term UV Protection: Once healed, always protect your permanent makeup with a high SPF to prevent the pigment from fading or shifting color over time.
