Your skin pores will be open and the area may be slightly red or sensitive for a few hours. This is completely normal. To protect your skin and prevent breakouts or irritation, follow these rules for the next 24 to 48 hours:

• Avoid touching the area: Keep your hands away from the freshly threaded skin to prevent introducing bacteria into open pores.

• No makeup or harsh products: Do not apply concealer, foundation, or heavily perfumed lotions and anti-ageing skincare directly to the area for at least 24 hours.

• Keep it cool: Avoid hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, sun beds, and direct sunlight, as heat can intensify redness and inflammation.

• Soothe gently: If the area feels warm or irritated, apply a pure, cooling gel like Aloe Vera or a cold compress with clean hands.

• Do not exfoliate: Avoid facial scrubs, chemical peels, or harsh cleansers on the threaded area for the first couple of days.
