Sculptra® Face Treatment

Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) Collagen Biostimulator

What Is Sculptra®?

Sculptra® is an advanced collagen-stimulating injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable material used in medicine for decades.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers that simply add instant volume, Sculptra works by stimulating your body’s own collagen production, restoring facial structure and volume gradually and naturally.

How It Works

Sculptra is injected into the deeper layers of the skin, where PLLA microparticles stimulate collagen production over time. As collagen rebuilds, the skin gradually:

  • Restores lost facial volume
  • Improves firmness and elasticity
  • Softens fine lines and deep wrinkles
  • Enhances overall skin quality and texture

  • Results develop progressively rather than overnight.

    Treatment Experience

  • Treatment time: Approximately 30–60 minutes per session
  • Course of treatment: Typically 2–3 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart
  • Downtime: Minimal. Most clients return to normal activities the same day
  • Results timeline: Subtle changes appear from 2–3 months, with continued improvement up to 6 months
  • Longevity: Results can last up to 2 years or longer, depending on individual factors

  • Benefits of Sculptra®

  • Stimulates your own collagen rather than simply filling
  • Natural-looking, gradual volume restoration
  • No over-filled or “puffy” appearance
  • Long-lasting results compared to many HA fillers
  • Improves hollowing, sagging, and deep facial lines

  • Areas Commonly Treated

  • Cheeks and mid-face volume loss
  • Temples
  • Jawline definition
  • Chin contouring
  • Nasolabial folds and marionette lines

  • Safety & Side Effects

Sculptra® has a strong safety profile when administered by trained medical professionals. PLLA is fully biodegradable and has been used safely in medical applications for many years.

    Common temporary effects:

  • Mild redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness
  • Temporary small lumps or firmness under the skin

  • Rare but important risks

  • Delayed nodules or granulomas (may appear months later)
  • Hypersensitivity reactions (very rare)
  • Infection (very rare)

  • Treatment is not recommended if there is active infection in the treatment area or a known allergy to the ingredients.

Why Choose Sculptra® Over Traditional Fillers?

Traditional hyaluronic acid fillers provide immediate volume but do not improve underlying skin structure.
Sculptra works differently. It stimulates your skin to rebuild its own collagen, delivering subtle, natural, and long-term rejuvenation rather than a short-term volumising effect.
